I’ve been discussing the question of ethics with Dennis Howlett. He’s a man who has studied the subject, seriously. And he’s come up with a suggested syllabus for an ethics paper for trainee accountants.

You may not agree with the detail — but it’s worth a look because what is not in doubt in my mind is that if this profession is to survive this is what it needs.
