The next few weeks will see me on tour, albeit mainly of universities. There may be moments when having a tour T shirt might help tell me where I am. Sometimes it will be in the UK: but I will not be improving my carbon footprint, I am afraid.
The tour starts today.
If blogging is sporadic and moderation slow, I apologise. The day job has to definitely take precedence on occasion. This is one such time. I will do my best but trust you will understand.

Are you visiting the NE – also any lectures etc open to the general public?
Sorry – not much of the tour is in the UK…..and what is nit getting very far north, to my regret
Good luck and take care!
Let us know how you get on if you can in terms of reaction.
The irony of course is in the post below you say that carbon contributing travel should be banned. Yet you do it yourself to go off and talk to people, when electronics means would be better.
Are you saying that your travel needs are more important than others? Can you provide a list of people who should travel and who should not be allowed to?
You know your question is ridiculous
I do not answer ridiculous questions

The beta version of Google ‘Political Translate’ renders this as, “I am a xxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxx with nothing to say.”
……maybe some honing required, but it’s coming along well. 🙂
ED NOTE: Enough now, please
Good luck with the tour Richard – you will be talking to the generation who will be worst hit by what is going on, but it may fall to them to sort it out in the years to come
Bons voyages! 🙂
This is a global issue, as you’ve frequently pointed out–so the more people you can enlighten, the better. I hope the tour goes well and that your advice makes an impact.
Have fun Richard, and bring back lots of feedback from those “bloody forinners”, never know…they might have some idea of what’s happening “over’ere”. We certainly don’t.
