Tim Geithner, the US Treasury secretary, will meet with a Chinese vice-premier in Beijing on Thursday in a clear sign that relations between China and US are improving.
Since right now the renminbi / dollar is just about the biggest issue for world stability this is pretty good news.
I just wish I could have any confidence in Geithner.
