The new global order

Posted on

I thought this fascinating, from India:

In the new global order, the tax havens will be targeted. Already, major members of the European Union, such as Germany and France, are questioning the relevance of tax havens and want stricter control over them. Switzerland is worried and says it is all "politics"

But the important point to grasp is the increasing global anger against these tax havens and many well-meaning experts suggest that these tax havens might have accelerated the global crisis by withdrawing funds and starving important institutions of Liquidity.

Until it takes a stand on the tax havens and flow of funds through anonymous routes, India will not be able to play any major global role. To take global initiative, one should have global perspective, sagacity and future vision.

The movement is spreading, as is the understanding of the issue.
