Donations

In April 2020, I offered the opportunity to donate to this blog for the first time, at a time when my funding was looking pretty uncertain as a consequence of the onset of the coronavirus crisis. I am genuinely grateful to all who donated: it made a big difference then, and still does now.

The easiest way to donate is via Ko-fi: there is a link on the right-hand side of this page and at the bottom of every recent blog post.

However, if you do not want to use Ko-fi for any reason (and we appreciate that there are grounds for not doing so because it is linked to PayPal), then please email me at richard.murphy@taxresearch.org.uk and I will provide bank details so that a direct payment can be made instead. That also saves charges.

The funding you provide will primarily be used to pay for IT, web costs, technical developments and so on. If there is an excess on top of that, it will contribute to my income for writing this blog and creating video content.

Thanks for your donated support. I do appreciate it.

All this being noted, what I must make clear is that donations are just that: they are offers of support and we do not offer memberships, special content, gifts or anything else in exchange, and the content on the blog and related YouTube channel will always be free to all, irrespective of whether donations are made, or not.
