I was on the Jeremy Vine Show today, discussing the impact of Trump's economics on the UK. Jeremy was not there; he had gone through the night covering the election.

Well spoken Richard! We have to keep warning people even though – or because – there seems to be a lot of complacency.
Thanks
Best sensible ( if depressing) comment on the walking catastrophe who is Trump that I’ve heard today! Thank you Richard
Thank you.
I was pleased to get a clear run to say it.
Interesting that Berry’s argument was basically that he’s not going to do the things he said he would do, so we don’t need to worry about anything!
I think you’re right that his current handlers won’t let him do such a volte face, or at least not too often. Wouldn’t surprise me if he was ‘retired’ in a year or two with health issues and Vance installed. That is somebody who is much more cynical and self-serving, even than Trump. Strikes me as a true believer, whereas Trump just wants to feel important and keep himself in the public eye. Vanity is his main driver, I feel.
I also wonder how have we got to the stage where the US President is in hock to a couple of misanthropic extremely right-wing South African billionaires? Modern politics really is reaching breaking point very quickly, though we seem to be heading more towards Gilead than Big Brother.
I was horrified at all the stuff from Trump. He’s out of control. Thank you for your radio contribution.
Well done, you were clearly v prepared (whereas Jake Berry seemed to be relying on his collection of Asterix annuals).
The BBC were both sidesing of course.
