It was in mid- September that I reported the first day on which this blog had 6,000 readers in a day.
A couple of weeks ago I reported the first on which it had 7,000 readers in a day.
And yesterday was the first with 8,000 readers in a day.
Thanks.

Congratulations Mr. Murphy.
Your blog is successful for one very good reason — people care.
Some care for the future of mankind and others care for their greed.
The PSG supports those principles that deliver honesty and truth …
And survival.
You can now probably start placing adverts on your website and charging a pretty penny. How about marketing from UBS, Barclays, Credit Suisse, HSBC, etc. Maybe tourism board of Jersey will chip in… “You and us”.
I suspect one of the reasons for this is that Richard provides a well argued alternative to the ‘must have cuts’ mantra parroted by the government and its fellow travellers on the political right.
And also, he’s constantly putting the boot into the banks, tax havens and tax dodgers that have got us into the mess we’re now in.
Keep up the good work Richard.
I’d like to offer a salute to Tim Worstall for driving so many people in the direction of your blog Richard. At least he has one useful function. 🙂
@Howard
I hate to disappoint – but he’s rarely provided more than a percent or so of traffic a day
The vast majority has no referring link
TJN and Association for Accountancy and Business Affairs are usually the biggest referers
And I have only to mention the Isle of Man to get a little boost!
But for all his noise Tim largely wastes his time
