250,000

Posted on

For some time a year or two ago I noted every few weeks that I had 10,000 new Twitter followers.

I last did so on 5 July 2023, when I reached 240,000 followers.

Last night this happened: I reached a quarter of a million.

This morning it has dipped just below that number again.

That says two things. One is that there is still interest out there. The other is that Musk is killing Twitter as a transmission mechanism and we are worse off for that.
