Further poll woe for Cameron: Tory voters favour electoral reform referendum | Left Foot Forward.
From Left Foot Forward:
Following the shrinking of his poll lead to just two points yesterday, David Cameron has come under further poll pressure — this time from Conservative voters. A YouGov/Vote For A Change survey has found that more Tory voters believe Cameron should allow a referendum on voting reform than hold up the Bill in the Lords, by 45:32.
The survey also revealed only 16 per cent of the public as a whole thought Cameron was right to hold up the bill’s passage, with only 8 per cent of Labour and Lib Dem voters opposed to a referendum.
The campaign for PR has been driven rather quietly, and very effectively from behind the scenes by my colleague in Finance for the Future, Colin Hines.
Good work Colin. I never thought he'd get reform. I now think I was wrong.

There may be a majority in the country for PR, but no agreement on which system. AV is not the answer.
I want a fair voting system — PR Government, but a system I understand. I want to vote for the best party for the Government, but also for the best MP. Voting must be simple and every vote should count.
I don’t want multimember constituencies — too much information! Or party lists. I want to elect an MP for my local area.
The only system that does that is Direct Party and Representative voting (DPR).
