As is, I guess, fairly obvious to those who read this blog I wake up fairly early most mornings and within minutes am reading and thinking about the day's blogs. It's a routine I enjoy or I would not do it. And I rarely need an alarm.
This morning if I set an alarm (and I don't recall) I must have turned it off and gone back to sleep. Then soon after I had finally woken - at 8 - I began a call that's only just ended. And so today's blogging time has largely disappeared.
My apologies. But, I have to admit, I do feel better for it.
And now the day job very definitely requires attention. I may do some blogs as the day progresses, but if I don't, please do understand that just sometimes the best-laid plans don't work.

Good for you is all I can say.
… and like PSR, so say I Richard, good for you
You were missed, but you are allowed a life and there is no substitute for sleep. 🙂

You work hard enough as it is to provide us with a huge amount of information. You deserve a late start – perhaps your body was going ‘need a rest, mate’ 🙂
