Craig Dalzell and Robin McApine of Common Weal / Common Space have both blogged about this. Robin McAlpine calculated that about 20% of all ‘Scottish’ expenditure is spent outside Scotland while Craig Dalzell wrote about the multiplier effect – I think he calculated it as being worth about 60% of the total expenditure.
