According to the FT:
Leaders of the world's 20 largest economies have been warned that they must “civilise capitalism” as they seek to revive economic growth and address growing public scepticism about the benefits of free trade and globalisation.
Officials present during closed-door sessions said US president Barack Obama, UK prime minister Theresa May and her Australian and Canadian counterparts emphasised the need to placate public discontent. According to the officials, Australian prime minister Malcolm Turnbull, a former Goldman Sachs banker, warned his peers of the need to “civilise capitalism”.
They could start with public country-by-country reporting. Little would indicate their intent better than that. After all, if capitalism is to be be civilised then globalisation must be held to account locally. And that's exactly what country-by-country reporting does.

You are quite right.
The issue that remains is making all the countries agree to this.
My reading and observation of globalisation since the mid 1990’s tells me that ‘deals’ done between corporations and governments smack of corruption.
It will be interesting to see how the G20 address this if at all.
Capitalism is sowing the seeds of its own destruction. The other problem is the powerful forces who see the destabilising effect of this as an opportunity to make money.
Country-by-country reporting is all part of “civilising” a mind-set that fundamentally believes that it’s acceptable to maximise the amount of “rent” one can extract from one’s fellow man and woman usually regardless of any adverse consequences. This mind-set is anti-social whereas the purpose of taxes is pro-social. There is therefore a huge psychological or attitude divide. Obama and May have form in doing the exact opposite of their pro-social statements. Don’t get too enthusiastic about their comments in regard to country-by-country reporting. Duplicity is the bed-fellow of Neo-Liberal ideology.
I have not a clue what you are saying here
What I know is country-by-country reporting is not what you claim: if it was it would be my fault and it’s nowhere near what you are suggesting
