From the FT this afternoon:
Wednesday 15:45 GMT. Stocks are sliding, copper is leading a slump in industrial commodities and many bond yields are falling to record lows as global growth worries sweep the market.
As far as I can tell there are no reports of plagues of locusts.
We should count our blessings.
