Peak oil is happening. The car, as a form of transport, is entering its last days. It's possible that we need very few new ones given the enormous stock of them that we already have and the fact that the fuel they use is going to be in very short supply.
This may be an industry that has to die whilst we create a new and appropriate trans-port infrastructure
