Alas, Richard, my only complaint here is that this suggests the lib-Dems operate on “fuzzy logic”.
Well, “real” fuzzy logic is actually a useful in many real applications (see Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuzzy_logic)
Lib-Dem fuzzy logic (without quotes, since it’s a description, not a term), however, has been universally destructive of the common good, probably because it has been based on fuzzy principles.
I just knew as soon ASI posted that at 6am that someone would haul me up for that good reason
I guess I should have said LibDem Thinking
But I was also punning on fuzzy logic deliberately – which as you rightly say is incredibly powerful and useful
Actually – I am abusing much of Venn diagram theory in this series – and know it – but don’t much care if it communicates
Nicely illustrated, Richard 🙂 It could equally apply to Cleggs grasp on reality (i.e. exactly how effective the LibDems have really been at tempering Tory policy), and Cable’s views of how often what he says translates into what him and his department actually do. And of course, to Danny Alexander in general.
