My apologies for all the typos in blogs of late.
I am perplexed by what is happening.
I write the blog.
I edit and correct it.
I spell check it.
I post it.
And an earlier version goes up which is not edited or corrected.
Any clues why anyone?

A quick check suggests all WordPress spelling checker corrections are ignored when posting….
Are you getting a message that there is a ‘more recent saved version’?
Have you checked your ‘saved versions’?
That happens very rarely…
When it does I take note
It seems more likely to be related to the spellchecker
I’m bemused!
I would suggest you write, check and spellcheck offline. Then simply copy and paste your final version as the first version. No previous versions to confuse….. Just a suggestion
The problem is you then have to add all the links
Why has no one written decent blogging software for a Mac?

It may be the cache function in your browser which is retaining the ‘old’ version of the page, rather than a WordPress problem.
For any page your browser loads, the browser cache retains the data for a set time. If you quickly return to that page the ‘old’ version of it loads. The purpose of this is to save time reloading all the data across the intertubes.
One way around this is to do your edits, then close the ‘old’ webpage. After posting your edits the browser will then have to reload the page anew from your WordPress server, with all your new edits, rather than simply displaying the ‘old’ version from your browser cache.
Hope this makes sense. Works for me.
This does make sense
The issue seems also to be related to saving drafts
Will try
Not fully aquainted with your software but when I edit / modify a word / excel doc i first create and save a copy, rework the original doc and then send that to the web where it overwrites the web version.
Thanks for your articles, I really appreciate them.
Thanks
