The amount of email traffic I am receiving regarding the blog and YouTube is increasing at present.
Some are invitations: I am doing a fair number of events this autumn. They don't always fit easily with regular blog and video production, but I will try to do as many as I can. So you can ask.
Many people are also sending me materials for comment. I regret that in most such cases, I do not have the time to do so: life is already hectic. So, if you really want to highlight material, please add a link in a comment, but do also explain what the material is. I have very little time to make a decision on suitability for posting. Please do your best to assist me in that case.
The third type of post is to ask me for my opinion on an issue, about which I have often written previously. I obviously do not expect people to have read all 24,060 posts I have written. But I do think it is reasonable to think you can ask Google what I think about an issue, or an AI search engine, before mailing me. As a result, I sometimes do not respond to these requests.
However, I also note that some people are genuinely looking for summaries of my thoughts on a subject, and that is something I have never really provided. So, I have been following my own advice and have spent a considerable amount of time developing a ChatGPT prompt to help me extract a summary of my thinking on a subject from my body of work. As usual, the final offering from ChatGPT (even after eleven iterations of the prompt) still required some editing; however, after making those edits, I think the resulting summaries might be helpful.
The first was published this morning, on fiscal rules.
The question is, do you agree? Might summaries of this sort be useful? Might you answer this poll? And might you also suggest topics in the comments? I can think of a whole pile of issues, but I might as well do what people want if this is, in general, thought to be worthwhile.

I voted no.
As you say, anyone really interested can google.
It is not difficult
You look to be in a minority.
You are an original thinker, and I think have enough new ideas, and new implications of older ones, to take more space than this blog, and other places, have. I think you should just say no unless this is something you think would be helpful to you. People should invest more of their own time in understanding rather than asking to be spoonfed, imo. Real learning, which is what you want, takes effort from the learner.
I voted “only if you have time”, and would now change it to “No”.
Noted
Thankfully, these will not take much time.
As no less than Keynes pointed out when the facts change so do his ideas
Clearly it would be better to have an up to date summary rather than searching for what may well be outdated blog posts
Thanks
