C’est la vie

Posted on

Writing posts for this blog is something that I just do pretty much every day, 365 days a year.

I wake up, review what has happened overnight or during the previous day, and decide on things to write about to post, because that is the way in which I frame my own understanding of the world around me.

I can offer no better explanation for what I do than that, excepting the fact that since I was very young. I have been completely fascinated with the process of turning words into sentences, and then into paragraphs, and so into pieces I could only dream of publishing way back then, but which the internet now lets me do with ease.

This morning, I realise that I am both very tired and have many other things to do during the day. So, taking a lesson from Paul Krugman, Heather Cox Richardson, and others who are also in the habit of posting daily, this post is here to pretty much record that, the video and quantum post apart, both of which were ready by last night, not a lot is going to happen here today.

I do, however, suspect that 24 hours off will rejuvenate me and that there will be posts tomorrow. Charlie Kirk, Peter Mandelson, Morgan McSweeney, mirrors in quantum economics; there is much to think about, but tomorrow will have to do. C'est la vie, as the French put it, more elegantly and with greater intonation than we ever will in English.
