Beautiful that is, the Carpenters of course. I had tickets to see then at the Glasgow Apollo in the 1970s, but unfortunately due to Karen’s ongoing health problems it was cancelled. Sad loss.
She had an incredible voice and she could drum.
How apt the song is about a young couple embarking on their journey together, it’s full of hope, optimism and the vibe of the 70s .
It’s hard to feel this vibe today in the joyless neoliberal sh1tshow.
Beautiful voice, nothing else like Karen’s voice.
