I am going to have limited access to the web today.
That is partly because I am spending all day in a workshop/conference.
That's also because where I am - in south west London - appears to have the type of WiFi we had in the 1980s - which is, none at all.
Apparently EE has not reached these parts unless you hang out of a window (I kid you not), whilst the provided WiFi is, I think, steam powered and they have forgotten to feed the meter.
It has been tortuous posting this morning. I will try to moderate comments when I can as the day goes on, but my available time has now gone if I am to give the day the attention it deserves.
People often ask me why I am unwilling to travel more. This is one of the reasons. Blogging from unknown locations with unknown WiFi is usually more challenging than from home, and my biggest audience is always those I reach via the web.
I hope that normal service will resume tomorrow.

Thank you for letting us know and I hope you get a lot out of it.
So far, disappointing.
NGOs really need to up their games.
I was at the Royal Festival Hall a couple of weeks ago and was amazed to find there was a very poor phone signal on both my SIMs which are on different networks. So much for the capital of one of the richest countries in the world! And BTW I have two SIMs for the very reason you suggest. Usually if one doesn’t work the other will.
I have not had this problem for ages. Perhaps the multi-billion pound properties in the area blocked the signal.
I am in SW London, I could drop off a bag of coal if you wish.
🙂
