A later in the day birthday present yesterday was reaching 110,000 Twitter followers:

And for all the inevitable trolls who will turn up today (to be deleted) saying 'why are you so vain to note this?' it's because getting the message I am talking about out there is one of my key goals, and this is a measure of achieving that aim.
It is also worth noting that this is the fastest ever addition of new followers, 100,000 having only been reached on 5 February. Much of this is down to the event threads on energy costs, the first of which now has these stats:
