If you thought Covid was all over some in government do not

If some in politics were to be believed Covid is all over. The right-wing of the Tory party are furious the last lockdown constraints are still in place. The government promises that they will be gone for good in four weeks. But then I got sent the notice that is the subject of these tweets:

Westminster council is acting for all 32 London boroughs.

£6 million is being spent on having emergency body storage.

Of course you could just say this is wise contingency planning. But not in mid-June 2021 is it. In mid-June 2021 it looks like panic in the face of an anticipated Covid wave.

This is not all over. Not by a long way.
