I noted last September that I had, slightly to my surprise, reached 60,000 Twitter followers.
Partly on the basis of that the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales named me the top placed accountancy influencer on social media in 2020 (which I also was in 2019):
This morning I noted I hit 80,000 Twitter followers:
Much of this has to do with the promotion of the themes discussed on this blog. My thanks to all who have supported this process. I do appreciate it.

That is the view down the Croesor Vally from Rhosydd quarry taken last summer. You need to be fit to get there. That is the route of a tramway in the foreground. My son shares my enthusiasm, and the five hour walk this required.

Well done Richard. Whilst Twitter has its downsides, its still a valuable medium for getting out messages and information. The numbers show that there is plenty of interest and support out there.
