Rumour has the tweet was a mistake, being sent to the wrong account by whoever wrote it.
And yet the sentiment was, I am sure, genuine and shared widely.
Worse, no doubt there will be an enquiry to identify who did this, but there will not be about Cummings.

Of course the deletion had the reverse of the intended effect, because something like that gets screenshotted, and all deleting it does is make everyone who knows about thoroughly determined to share it more widely.
Could this be what the tweet author was thinking of?
As an expatriate Scot I visit Craig Murray’s blog on occasions for insights into Scottish politics. He has posted the provocative thought below on Cummings’ visit to Castle Barnard. Coincidence? Feeding the MSM feeding frenzy? Vindictive comment? I don’t know but Murray’s comment chimes with my opinion of Bojo and his cabinet and sparks some intrigue.

I honestly think that Boris is in a movie of his own making – he is the ‘New Churchill’ and he being a big boy and making tough decisions. It has become his coping mechanism.
But Cummings……………………I think that he is looking untouchable isn’t he and that is even more disturbing.
I wonder if there is capacity in the Civil Service and even the security service to say ‘Enough is enough – this lot (the Tories) are completely insane and we can’t justify supporting them anymore’? I wonder if the damn is going to break here……………

C’mon now – this is not about who reports to whom. There is a long tradition of whistle blowers in such circumstances – people who have principles and think that power goes to far.
It could be that the Tories have already gone too far for some in their party and the civil service to stomach.
