Sometimes what is in front of your nose tells you all you need to know about an issue. This is true this morning in an email from the Financial Times, which has this juxtaposition within it:
What the Tories want is the greatest opportunity for the City of London. Everyone else can bear the cost of the disruption that their policies will bring.
And that is Tory policy laid bare: finance rules, and everyone else can go to hell in a hand cart.

I confess that I voted Leave (yes, shoot me now), but quickly realised why I was wrong – it became apparent that the sole purpose of BREXIT was to enable the rich to become richer – and that was the tragedy of Labour, Lib Dems et al – when they were scared stiff of making the case to Remain.
allow me to reciprocate and confess I voted Remain,
I thought jumping out of the frying pan would put us in the fire,
but my Remain vote was no way intended as an endorsement of being in a frying pan,
we were given a choice between the neo-liberal corporate globalists or the free market privateers,
it was like being asked whether you wanted to continue being punched in the face or preferred to be kicked in the balls instead.
