I am aware that there are rumours that I work constantly, do not need sleep and have a twin to aid my productivity. None of these claims are actually true barring the fact I really do have a twin brother - who has not, as far as I can recall, ever done anything to aid my productivity, much as I love him.
So sometimes I need a day or two off. With the draft of Dirty Secrets out of the way that's happening, from tomorrow. I suspect that, as usual, it will not mean I stop blogging even if I down tools on just about everything else but moderation might be decidedly erratic. I offer no apology. My sons seem to have other plans on my time and I have every intention of succumbing, starting very soon.

Enjoy a well-deserved break. But a ‘day or two off’ isn’t really sufficient – can’t you just down tools for a couple of weeks?
It is 11 days…..
And every one well earned, that’s for sure, Richard. You and the boys enjoy yourselves, whatever you have planned. Cheers.
Thanks
Have a great time Richard
Thanks
Good for you Richard – enjoy! My mis-reading of your blog the other day proves I need a break too!!
I hope you get one

Away from the stresses of everyday living. As the song says, when your’e too tense it’s common sense to relax et vous.
Have a lovely break with your loved ones.
I’ll second those very practical and kind sentiments, Sylvia.
Enjoy your time with your family, Richard – you must need it after the last few weeks!
