I note many on the right are claiming who owns a company, and where, does not matter. The context is, if course, the Pfizer bid for AstraZeneca.
If this is true I have one question for those who suggest it. Why, in that case, does Pfizer place the ownership of a significant number of its subsidiaries in tax havens, as the Mail reports this morning?
Where you own something actually seems to matter a very great deal, after all.
