Cute is not a word often used of me, I admit. I doubt my mum even thought of it
…..and acute and astute unlike most of the rubbish we see and hear or read in our not so free press.
An impressive and well-balanced interview, as one of Manx forums’ regulars has, to his credit, felt bound to acknowledge (comment #7 on Charlie’s link):

Ok he did not let Paul get a word in, but he was quite fair in his assessments of our, and other Crown Dependency’s situations.

just tried to watch the links in google chrome but was told ‘ stream not available’ so watched it in firefox instead….
my hope is that sometime way in the future this period we are living through will be seen as a time of transparency challenging authority. i do believe that this will be one of the key points, if not the key point, to establishing institutions that we can trust. it would not provide for utopia however the the amount of effort that is being used to maintain all these secrets, be they commercial or political, has deformed our societies; and therefore us.
if that does not happen then we will all live vastly diminished lives.
