I got a question in to Gordon Brown at the PM’s press conference this afternoon.
It’s a minor first but I’ll claim it. I’ve just become the first blogger to ever ask a question of a world leader at an international summit.
And what is more — Gordon Brown seems to have given an honest answer.

Did you really think it was an honest answer? I thought he completely failed to answer the thrust of your question, which was about whether there would also be measures that were appropriate to developing countries – he just made it sound like same old same old.
Regardless of what’s in the annex to the communiqu?© (and I know you’ve had something about that over at ExCel) he could have taken the opportunity to make an unambiguopus statement, but he didn’t. In fact I don’t think he talked about developing countries at all.
Congratulations Richard. All your hard work is being rewarded.
