My next book is due out in November. Entitled 'Dirty Secrets' and to be published by Verso it discusses the political economy of tax havens and what to do about them.
The book passed a significant milestone this afternoon: the whole of it now exists in first draft.
And as 75% has already been through the first editorial process at Verso I'm optimistic we're on target. But it's been a mighty sweat.

The same publishing house has recently published my poetic effort, “Paying for borrowing by spending”. Assuming you make it through their exacting requirements then you’re in good company being published by Verso.

Enjoyed and learned from the first two. But won’t no. 3 be covering the same ground as Nicholas Shaxton or does yours have a different focus? Have you read Alan White’s Shadow State? The gross abuse of outsourcing is almost as big a scandal as tax fiddling.
We’re a long way on in time terms now and my book is very different from Nick’s in both style and content
And no I haven’t…
