I think Tm Worstofall has blasted off about six blogs about The Courageous State this morning - all based, of course, on pedantry and many of them actually or theoretically wrong.
But it's keeping him happy - even if, of course, all his effort is designed to simply prove he's not part of any debate that will have any impact on the world, at all.
That said, I'm so pleased to have delivered Christmas early for him.

I have the view that far too much time and energy is being spent on debating old ideas that refer to a very different recent past and even more different distant past. We can learn many things from the past, notably when the time has come to admit that a very new world has arisen and we had better get used to it. Just to start with, digital money has taken over many of our financial systems and we have no theory of money to deal with this.

Of all the people on the planet no one takes seriously Tim has to be very high up there on the list!

For my sins I did log on to Tim’s blog yesterday to see what he was writing about you, Richard, and his blog really has deteriorated substantially. I always disagree with Tim but once upon a time he used to have at least an internally consistent (neoclassical) argument in his blogposts. Now, it’s just motormouth finger-pointing, ranting and swearing like The Devil’s Kitchen or Guido Fawkes – just asinine rubbish. If people like Tim are the best the right can come up with then they really are in intellectual trouble.
