I took time to breathe deeply, look at the world, and think hard today.<\/p>\n

In this morning's deep fog, Jacqueline and I had coffee near the Cathedral and discussed an interview I am doing next week. More on that another time.<\/p>\n

This afternoon, the fog had lifted, and we were at Welney, which offered great birdwatching.<\/p>\n

This is the River Ouse (which is canalised here), looking south.<\/p>\n

And this is one of the northern hides across the fen in light afternoon sun. A barn owl had just flown over.<\/p>\n
