We are holding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taxresearch.org.uk\/Blog\/2026\/08\/23\/ely-3-october-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">our event in Ely<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">One reason I can, most of the time, moderate comments fairly promptly and answer a reasonable number is that I no longer spend many of my days engaged in other activities and meetings, as I once did.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Today, however, my focus will be on the event we are holding, talking to people, and then winding down, which might last into tomorrow.
