Every murder is a tragedy, but it was not, as far as we know, a race crime. Even if it was, the crime was that of an individual. That cannot be extrapolated into a systemic failing<\/p>\n<p>The police might have made mistakes, but they were given credible but deeply misleading information, and that is what contributed to Henry Nowak's death.<\/p>\n<p>To promote hatred on the basis of this is what fascism, evil and the deliberate undermining of democracy looks like.<\/p>\n<p>And I should add, Vice President J D Vance defended the killing of Ren\u00e9e Good<span class=\"s1\"> and <\/span>Alex Pretti by ICE operatives in Minneapolis earlier this year. He is a man whose judgment is already open to serious doubt.<\/p>\n<p>And he is seeking to promote racial division in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>It is our job to resist it.<\/p>\n<p>The \"othering\" and clear racism in this tweet is reprehensible and rightly deserves to be described as fascist, because that is what it is, in my opinion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is what fascism looks like.
