This data comes from the really useful US-based Strength in Numbers<\/a> Substack. It shows all opinion poll results in the USA in the last week on the issue of support for Trump's war on Iran:<\/p>\n

Look at the data: only with the Fox News audience can Trump get a draw when it comes to support. Everywhere else, he is losing badly.<\/p>\n

So, for how long can he wage war without popular support in the USA? I suspect the answer is for much less time than he needs, with that time horizon getting much shorter as the economic impact of the war hits US consumers<\/a> and savers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trump has embarked on a venture he may not be able to see through.<\/p>\n

And do not doubt that the US economy will see those impacts. The US economy shed 92,000 jobs in February, as this chart from the New York Times<\/a> shows:<\/p>\n

Trump is failing to deliver jobs, which is a key measure for the US economy, as the Biden era shows. Trump is a President running out of road, which is why he is at war.<\/p>\n
