There will, therefore, be no going back to a majoritarian politics in which most voters loyally choose one of two archaic teams. All that has gone.<\/p>\n<p>What hasn\u2019t yet occurred to most politicians is that the same applies to people in suits spouting cliches about \u201chardworking families\u201d, the daily (legacy) media round, \u201cpitch-rolling\u201d speeches and all of Westminster\u2019s other outmoded rituals.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I completely agree.
