target="_self">Donald Trump and even compared it to being on the Titanic.

Marci Shore, Timothy Snyder and Jason Stanley are all professors at the Ivy League institution, with Stanley already having told MSNBC in April Now, the other two are bolting as well, with the trio set to take up new jobs at the University of Toronto.

Tim Snyder needs no introduction or explanation to readers here.

Jason Stanley is the author of one of the best books on fascism I have read.

Marci Shore, a history professor at Yale, is the author of “The Ukrainian Night,” about the Ukrainian revolution.

But, apparently, according to The Mail, the paper that supported Hitler until the moment when it became no longer possible for it to do so, fleeing fascism is 'woke', when all term means is that those accused of it are people who care.

As the New York Times reports:

Professor Shore, who has spent two decades writing about the history of authoritarianism in Central and Eastern Europe, is leaving because of what she sees as the sharp regression of American democracy. “We’re like people on the Titanic saying our ship can’t sink,” she said. “And what you know as a historian is that there is no such thing as a ship that can’t sink.”

I completely understand.

And as the Mail itself is forced to report:

Threatening to leave America has been a hobby horse of the elites and wealthy since Trump's first term.

Many have been <a in a desperate bid to escape life under Trump.

The so-called 'Donald Dash' has been backed up by Home class="mol-para-with-font">In fact more than 6,100 US citizens applied last year, the most since records began two decades ago and 26 per cent more than in 2023.

No doubt they are all woke as well, as well as being exactly the sort of migrants The Mail does not want here - along with all the rest.

Our world is going mad. Long may Marci Shore, Timothy Snyder and Jason Stanley point that out.

On Friday, the Daily Fail Mail featured this profoundly enlightened headline: As they noted: Three liberal professors at Yale University said they’re jumping ship from
Read the full article…

[215,204,211,203,106,75

post-82437","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-age-of-aggression","category-economic-justice","category-education","category-fascism","category-politics","category-usa
["GET
