It is an existential risk. That is the most important news of the day. And no one is paying attention, and none of our politicians are taking the need to do anything about it seriously anymore.<\/p>\n<p>Our politicians can, apparently, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taxresearch.org.uk\/Blog\/2025\/05\/08\/this-ve-day-is-not-a-reason-to-celebrate-it-should-all-be-about-noting-lessons-not-learned\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">senselessly celebrate the past, without thinking about what it means<\/a>.
