{"id":81172,"date":"2025-03-27T13:24:21","date_gmt":"2025-03-27T13:24:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.taxresearch.org.uk\/Blog\/?p=81172"},"modified":"2025-03-27T13:24:21","modified_gmt":"2025-03-27T13:24:21","slug":"the-bbc-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.taxresearch.org.uk\/Blog\/2025\/03\/27\/the-bbc-again\/","title":{"rendered":"The BBC, again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Commentators here often ask why I do not get BBC air time.<\/p>\n<p>In fairness, this week I have done:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Radio 4 on fiscal rules on Monday<\/li>\n<li>Look North and then local radio stations on MPs\u2019 pay on Tuesday<\/li>\n<li>Radio 2 yesterday on the Spring Statement<\/li>\n<li>Radio 5 this morning with Nicky Campbell on tariffs - although as they admitted, they lost editorial control of the flow of the programme and so this did not work that well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are not the Today programme or Question Time, but four in four days, with three of them being national, this is not bad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Commentators here often ask why I do not get BBC air time.
