It is what some have chosen to impose on others."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My column in The National this week was about human being\u2019s capacity to be inhumane to other human beings.<\/p>\n<p>I used the example of poverty - and destitution - in Scotland to illustrate my point.<\/p>\n<p>I made clear that this destitution is not inevitable. It is what some have chosen to impose on others.
