I overslept this morning, by quite a lot. Usually I am around by six or very soon after. This morning I must have missed the alarm, the rest of the household being up, and the sun streaming in and stayed asleep.<\/p>\n<p>The result is a limited blogging output this morning. But maybe two threads yesterday will have to do, on top of which I also wrote a column for The National, did a 45 minute livecast with them, started reviewing an academic paper, spent time with university colleagues on two grant applications (one of which we now know is successful) and quite a lot else, including work on a new report on wealth taxes. I watched the mixed doubles final at Wimbledon last night and felt really tired. I obviously was!<\/p>\n<p>So my apologies if there is less than usual to read this morning - but the day job also has demands that must be met today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have a confession to make.
