I&rsquo;m not predicting that. I&rsquo;m just saying it looks possible.<\/p>\n<p>I am predicting just one thing post the election. That is that if David Cameron does try to form a government George Osborne will not be his Chancellor. <\/p>\n<p>The City will like that.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of country would be delighted.<\/p>\n<p>Machiavelli would approve.<\/p>\n<p>And it would be what Osborne deserves.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, he&rsquo;s run the Tory campaign \u2014 and however you look at it, they&rsquo;ve lost. This election should have been a racing certainty for them. And if they forma&#160; government it&rsquo;s not even clear it will be with a majority.
