Rewriting the Bank of England\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s mandate might be a good place to start if we want to begin putting it right"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some people say that words don\u2019t matter.<\/p>\n<p>Others might say that playing around with them might not change much when we\u2019re in a total mess.<\/p>\n<p>But I would disagree.<\/p>\n<p>Words are there at times of crisis to say what really matters to us.<\/p>\n<p>The Bank of England\u2019s mandate is the only real summary of economic policy that the U.K. has.
