We should not in any way condone, but should punish irresponsible and excessive risk-taking.<\/p>\n<p>\"The old short-term bonus culture is gone; that there are no rewards for failure, but penalties for failure; that in the future there must be rewards for success - but long-term sustainable success and not just short-term gains.\"<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So that's why you appointed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.taxresearch.org.uk\/Blog\/2009\/02\/09\/yet-another-massive-error-of-judgement-by-darling\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sir David Walker<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.taxresearch.org.uk\/Blog\/2009\/02\/09\/glen-moreno-a-massive-error-of-politcal-judgement-who-has-to-go\/\" target=\"_blank\">Greg Moreno<\/a> was it?
