If so, the ECB would act, he insisted.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s Praet\u2019s comments, via Reuters:<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"quoted\">\n<div class=\" quoted__contents\">\n<blockquote><p>\u201cDevelopments in the world economy and commodity markets have increased the downside risk in achieving the sustainable inflation path towards 2 percent; the risk has increased.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe governing council will closely monitor all incoming information,\u201d he said. \u201cThere should be no ambiguity on the willingness and ability of the governing council to act if needed.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\" quoted__contents\">\n<p>Which is interesting because the ECB already has a \u00e2\u201a\u00ac1 trillion conventional QE programme under way.<\/p>\n<p>So what's next?\u00a0People's Quantitative Easing?
