This may it be by chance. It may be by design. in <a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/politics\/2014\/jun\/21\/protest-march-austerity-london-russell-brand-peoples-assembly\" target=\"_self\">the Guardian report it says<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Metropolitan police refused to provide an estimate. A police spokesman said the force had received no reports of arrests.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesman for the prime minister declined to comment.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This fits into recognised theories of change.<\/p>\n<p>First they ignore you.<\/p>\n<p>Then they ridicule you.<\/p>\n<p>After they violently oppose you.<\/p>\n<p>Then what you said was right all along.<\/p>\n<p>There's little comfort in being ignored. But it is part of a process. The important point is not to give up at that stage.
