And he's a phenomenal writer and campaigner. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/profile\/harry-leslie-smith\" target=\"_blank\">Just read his latest article on the Guardian, here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iconbooks.com\/blog\/title\/harrys-last-stand\/\" target=\"_blank\">now he's written a book <\/a>- which I have on order.\u00a0As <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thenation.com\/blog\/180156\/harrys-last-stand-message-d-day-veteran#\" target=\"_blank\">he has said to The Nation<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">As one of the last remaining survivors of the Great Depression and the Second World War, I will not go gently into that good night.
