It extends to Japan, where as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.financialdirector.co.uk\/aa\/news\/2279199\/former-olympus-execs-sentenced-over-accounting-fraud?wt.mc_ev=click&amp;WT.tsrc=Email&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=Former%20Olympus%20execs%20sentenced%20over%20accounting%20fraud&amp;utm_campaign=FDcareerJUL3&amp;utm_source=Financial%20Director%20Leadership%20%26%20Careers&amp;utm_medium=Email\" target=\"_blank\">Financial Director<\/a> notes:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Three former\u00a0executives\u00a0at Japanese camera maker Olympus have handed suspended jail sentences for their part in a \u00a31bn accounting fraud.<\/p>\n<p>Former president Tsuyoshi Kikukawa and former director and auditor Hideo Yamada were given three year sentences, while former executive vice-president Hisashi Mori was given a two-and-a-half-year sentence.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So the moral is, if you're doing a\u00a0fraud, make sure you are at the top of the\u00a0company\u00a0and make it a massive one.
