You bet it is\" href=\"http:\/\/www.taxresearch.org.uk\/Blog\/2013\/03\/24\/is-cyprus-a-secrecy-jurisdiction-you-bet-it-is\/\">already mentioned that Cyprus is\u00a0indisputably\u00a0a\u00a0secrecy jurisdiction \/\u00a0tax haven<\/a>. The nay-sayers\u00a0will, however, suggest that this conclusion was based on my own research, so let me show it is not.<\/p>\n<p>In 2009 when the\u00a0Tax Justice Network began work on the Financial Secrecy Index we had to decide which locations to look at.
