Supply side reforms do not work.<\/p>\n<p>He's right, we need investment now.<\/p>\n<p>He's right, this needs to be local, diversified and also fast.<\/p>\n<p>He's right, it is\u00a0shameful\u00a0that the\u00a0government\u00a0has not realised this.<\/p>\n<p>He's right, we won't get out of recession without such change.<\/p>\n<p>It's just a shame it's taken so long for a Tory to say so. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.neweconomics.org\/sites\/neweconomics.org\/files\/A_Green_New_Deal_1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Some of us were doing so in 2008<\/a>, before the crash happened.<\/p>\n<p>In that case Heseltine has a lot to\u00a0apologise\u00a0for: he's way behind the times.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What can be said about Heseltine&#8217;s report on growth?
